Ten One Tea House is a popular boba spot with multiple locations around Boston, offering an extensive menu of fruit teas, slushes, and milk teas. We visited on a weekend afternoon, and while the shop was busy, it didn't feel overwhelming. Despite having only a small staff on hand, they managed to process orders efficiently, and we received our drinks within 5-10 minutes. The boba itself was impressive, striking the right balance of sweetness and consistency. It wasn't too sugary or watery, and the amount of tapioca pearls was just right--enhancing the tea without overpowering it. We tried the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and the Mango Slush. While both were enjoyable, the Mango Slush stood out as the highlight; the toppings paired perfectly with the refreshing flavor of the drink. Overall, Ten One Tea House is a great boba shop to check out, especially if you're on Newbury Street and looking for a refreshing treat.

The staff behind the counter are super friendly and helpful. The location is cozy, and I loved my drink. They did a Christmas themed mystery box and gift which was super cute. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area

Came here with some friends on a weekend because we were on Newbury street and craving boba - it did not disappoint! First, the interior is very modern and sleek, bright and clean with a little bit of seating available. I tried their rose oolong tea with their signature blue butterfly boba pearls. The drink tasted very fresh and their blue pearls are quite unique and chewy. Some of my friends tried their milk teas and loved them too. Definitely coming back!

A great business and drinks without any doubt. A tea drink that's captured the percolating tinglies in my brain; some of which I could relive everyday. But unfortunately the business just felt like that, a business and not the love I was looking for. Certainly they are here to make good drinks and be a business, but if I were to go back, I would want more friendly staff and a comfortable place to sit to enjoy my boba.

Overall a very different type of boba tea place than your typical place cashing in on their big trend. In my opinion, Ten One's claim to fame is their tea first. The boba is secondary here, and that is not a bad thing. ATMOSPHERE/ARCHITECTURE: 9/10 The atmosphere is a great fusion of modern vibes with classical traditional themes and I think it is well put together and appears as a classy establishment. Also, the aroma of tea is very strong when you walk in through the door. SERVICE: 9/10 Service is fast and when you walk in, you can order everything on the touch screen, streamlining the entire process. My drink was in my hands before I knew it! FOOD: 8/10 Ten One Milk Green Tea with Blue Butterfly Boba - 8/10 - The green tea in this drink is fantastic. Very fragrant and is clearly built upon that foundation of excellent tea. I added the blue butterfly boba as I wanted to try it. I'm not completely sold on this boba being the way but it did have a very floral flavor. The color was pretty as well. The texture though was a little tougher and harder than regular boba. I think I will go with normal boba in the future. VALUE: 6/10 It is going to run $8-9 a cup which is on the higher end. PROBABILITY OF RETURN: 9/10 TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT: Come here and try a drink. OVERALL: 8/10

This is the cutest boba shop ever! The little squirrel is so inviting. Get this, they have lactose free milk or coconut milk (I think that's what I got). Of course I needed to get Earl Grey Milk Tea, no sugar, and 50% ice. It was perfect.
